Research in Motion (RIM) has released the full version of its BlackBerry Twitter application, technology news site IT Pro has reported.
The application, which was launched nearly three months back in its beta form, has been integrated with the basic functions required to use micro blogging platform Twitter.
The application will allow users to tweet, retweet, reply to a post, follow a fellow Twitter member, check topics, and shorten the URL, all from their smartphone.
In three months of testing, RIM tweaked and added a number of features to the application, including adding support for Yfrog, Tweetphoto, geotagged tweets, and navigation keys.
The full version allows BlackBerry users access their personal accounts from anywhere with “Go to User” feature add-on.
The application will also provide support for a variety of languages, including Dutch, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, and Turkish.
