The latest rumour surrounding RIM is that they have developed a BlackBerry iPad-esque tablet, according to the analyst company Rodman and Renshaw. Details relating to the devices specifications have been noted in a recent report, along with its actual delivery timetable being brought forward.
A 7-inch BlackBerry tablet device by Research In Motion was apparently scheduled to be released next year, with the analyst company detailing that it has now been changed. The analyst report that came out at the end of last week is the basis of this recent rumour, which goes on to mention the BlackBerry will be powered by a 1Ghz Marvell processor.
More details have also come out surrounding this expected end of year device, where the features mentioned relate to the product having abilities such as full HD 1080p playback, advanced 3D graphics, 16 megapixel image capture, front facing and rear cameras - all supposedly to compete with Apple and their iPad.
Details haven't emerged as to where this market intelligence originated from, but Research In Motion themselves appear to have declined when asked to comment on the report - which could confirm the device, just by their silence alone.
