The world's smallest and lightest mobile phone is set to launch in the UK by the end of this month.
The Modu 1 measures just 72.1mm x 37.6mm, and weighs in at a feather-light 43g. Israeli manufacturer Modu Limited is touting the diminutive product as a candidate for the Guinness Book of Records.
The handset boasts a 1.3 inch screen and 2 GB memory, and comes with built-in speakers, Bluetooth capabilities and an MP3 player. Interchangeable jacket covers in a number of different colours will be available for the phone.
The Modu 1 will be available for £129.99 from Purelygadgets (opens in new tab).
Sariel Engel, Modu's vice president of sales and business development, told tech news site the Inquirer in a statement (opens in new tab): “Our launch in the UK with Purelygadgets is an exciting development in Modu's distribution.”
Engel added: “This partnership will make the Modu phone and Modu jackets available to a new and dynamic market. This is a winning scenario for Modu, Purelygadgets and UK mobile phone customers.”
