Apple is expected to address the iPhone 4 brouhaha tomorrow in hastily-scheduled press conference.
The outfit hasn't specified exactly what the press conference is supposed to be about, and the words "Death Grip" are unlikely to be uttered by anyone within earshot of Steve Jobs, should the turtlenecked messiah of consumer capitalism turn up.
Apple simply told its tame media pals that the press conference will begin Friday, July 16th at 10:00 am PST.
The bookies reckon Apple is odds-on to recall the iPhone 4, the firm's fastest-selling phone in history and the one blighted with a poorly-designed antenna that can lose signal strength if you hold it in a manner not recommended by Apple - such as in your hand and close to your ear.
Apple first criticised users for not holding the gadget properly before coming up with a lame excuse about how it never measured signal strength properly in the first place.
It remains to be seen what excuses the Cupertino cowboys come up with this time around before biting the bullet and issuing an expensive and humbling recall notice.
