Microsoft has officially launched the new version of its flagship gaming console, the Xbox 360, and added a new moniker to it, Slim, to describe the physical changes that have been made to it.
Apart from the fact that it has lost some weight and is skinnier than it was previously, the new Xbox 360 Slim also features a 250GB hard disk drive, five USB ports, 802.11n Wi-Fi, touch sensitive buttons and much more.
And the other thing that's slimming down is the price as well. We've already seen that you can buy the console on its own for as little as £185 from Shopto.net, a saving of 7 per cent from the official RRP.
However, two other retailing giant, Currys and Argos are vying for the best bundle deal altogether. Currys is selling the console with three great games, Halo 3, Halo 3 : ODST and Forza Motorsport 3, for £189.05 including delivery (you have to use the discount code HOT05 to get 5 per cent off).
Argos, on the other hand, offers you six games in all for £209.99 with the console. These include Halo 3, Halo Wars, Fable 2, Forza Motorsport 2, Gears of War 2 and Project Gotham Racing 4.
