Google is rolling out a new service that allows users to sign-in into multiple accounts simultaneously, The Washington Post has reported.
According to a recent post on Google’s operating system blog, the new multiple sign-in option is available through the Google account page. The option will now allow users to log-in to, and cycle through, up to three Google accounts at the same time.
Google has said that the advanced feature is available for Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Sites, Google Reader, Google Voice, App Engine and Google Code. The feature is not, however, available in Google Docs and the recent Google Wave real-time collaboration service.
The company has said that the feature will be made available to Google Docs in the near future.
The Google help centre states: "If you visit other Google products that don't support multiple accounts after you've signed in, you will automatically sign in to your default account for that product. If you sign out of any Google product while signed in to any account, you will be signed out of all your Google Accounts at once."
