VMware has released the Zimbra Collaboration Suite Appliance e-mail and collaboration software solution on Tuesday.
The Zimbra Collaboration Suite Appliance, available at $625 for 25 mailboxes, has been designed for enterprises and offers a high level of scalability, back up and disaster recovery.
The virtualisation solutions company has launched the suite, which has been especially designed to be compatible with VMware's vSphere platform, tech news site Web Host Industry Review has reported.
“We’re excited about the opportunity to provide VMware customers worldwide with Zimbra’s best-in-class email and collaboration solution paired with VMware vSphere’s leading virtualisation platform,” said Jim Morrisroe, general manager at Zimbra.
The company also announced that Zimbra has now been completely integrated with VMware services, and that its products can be accessed through VMware's sales, allowing more than 190,000 customers and 25,000 channel partners an access to the latest productivity suite.
Zimbra was acquired by VMware in February this year.
