Dell is planning a new handset, which is turning out to be the smaller version of the Streak, and which will carry the sweet name of Thunder.
Engadget has the pictures complete with a video of the handset and it looks as if it is an improvement on the Streak itself, assuming that it is the real deal.
The phone apparently comes with a removable 1400mAh battery, a 4.1-inch screen with a resolution of 800x480 pixels, a 8-megapixel camera with LED flash and the prototype comes with Android OS 2.1, complete with a homescreen that carries 28 icons.
The phone looks positively slim, even compared to the Dell Streak, and should be out in Q4 2010, nearly six months after details were first leaked online.
Whether Dell will throw in Android 3.0 is anyone's guess; the obvious irony is that the Streak is still stuck on Android OS 1.6.
