The HTC Vision has appeared for a few hours on the Amazon UK website on the page listing of the HTC Desire HD as the Desire Z before being pulled down.
Techradar reports that the phone carried a preorder price of £455 but warned that it might just be a trick for Amazon to gather some momentum (and page visits) ahead of a proper launch.
The handset popped up on the same Amazon page as the soon-to-be-released HTC Desire HD.
The HTC Desire Z appeared earlier in August on Vodafone's inventory system in Germany and is expected to be a slider phone with a QWERTY keyboard, making it the first HTC Android phone to come with one.
Other features are unknown but the fact that it is a "Desire" branded means that you will have Android 2.1 at least, a Qualcomm 1GHz processor, 512MB RAM and a 3.7-inch AMOLED screen with a WVGA resolution.
Have you tried the HTC Desire? What are your feelings about it? Do you think that HTC will have much success turning the Desire into a whole family?
