Microsoft has released the second beta version of its Windows Live Essentials 11 application bundle.
Technology news website Ars Technica has reported that the second update for comes with a pack of free accessories, called the Wave 4 suite, which include Windows Live Messenger, Windows Live Photo Gallery, Windows Live Mail, Windows Live Sync, Movie Maker, Writer, Family Safety and the Bing Toolbar.
The beta version has been available for download since yesterday.
The new Windows Live Essentials 11 comes with a number of new additions, such as Facebook Chat integrated with Windows Live Messenger, Bing Maps Geotag integrated in Photo Gallery, and a Flickr export in Movie Maker.
Those currently using the old beta will need to update to the new version to access the new and updated features.
The update is largely dedicated to improving performance and innovation based on customers’ needs, but also comes with some improvements to existing features within Photo Gallery, Movie Maker, Family Safety, Mail and Writer.
“First, we want to say thank you for your help. Your beta feedback and usage has helped shape the many improvements we've made and continue to make across Messenger, Photo Gallery, Movie Maker, Writer, Mail, and Family Safety,” said Chris Jones of Microsoft in an official blogpost.
