Facebook has promised users that will introduce a new and improved Facebook Chat feature next month.
According to a post on the company blog, Facebook has made enormous progress in making Chat faster and more stable. The company has also claimed to have fixed a number of bugs.
Facebook Chat has gained the reputation of being unreliable, stuttering from time to time and occasionally crashing in the middle of a conversation.
“In the coming weeks, we will be making important improvements in the way connections are established and messages are sent, so that Chat will be much more stable for you and your friends,” the company said.
The company also said that the new and improved Facebook Chat feature will no longer support Microsoft's Internet Explorer 6 web browser, in its aim to offer the best chat experience to users.
According to Facebook, people running IE 6 will have to start using another web browser from 15 September.
