Cheapest UK 3D TV Set Falls To £810 ... With Free 3D Blu-ray Player

Amazon has partnered with Samsung to bring down the price of acquiring 3D technology with the 40-inch 3D television set dropping to £809.94.

The price, not only includes delivery but also a free 3D Blu-ray player until the end of September 2010 and a free pair of 3D glasses.

The Samsung LE40C750 has been the cheapest 3D television set on the market for some time now and its price has been consistently dropping over the past few months; it could be purchased for £837 in June and £920 in May.

Even at this price, the 40-inch LE40C750 packs some pretty impressive features like a built-in Freeview HD tuner worth around £100 on its own, Internet@TV which allows you to connect to view web content for free and PVR capabilities by plugging in an external storage device.

The television does work with PS3, delivering great 3D quality according to early previews; you will get the BD-C5900 3D Blu-ray Player for free by adding it at the checkout, a peripheral worth £160 on its own.

In addition, a free pair of 3D glasses can be redeemed at Samsung Connect and additional pairs can be bought for £48 at Amazon.
