Apple has posted a new job opening for a marketing manager for its iBookstore to increase awareness and sales of e-books on the platform.
The Cupertino-based company is looking for a marketing manager dedicated to its web-based books store, dubbed as iBookstore to enhance awareness about the medium and drive sales through working with publishers and writers, technology news website All News Mac reported on Monday.
"It will be this Manager's responsibility to drive awareness and sales of iBooks through co-marketing programs with publishers and authors, strategic partnerships, and via online and direct marketing tactics." stated the job post on Apple’s website.
First spotted by Cnet, the post demands a candidate with entrepreneur skills and deep knowledge about the publishing industry. The job offer has been made for someone who wouldn't mind working in the copany's headquarter in Santa Clara Valley, California.
