The Japanese release date for Nintendo's upcoming 3DS hand-held gaming device has been revealed by a former Key Factory employee.
A Twitter user going by the user name of 'nocchisan' tweeted that Key Factory is gearing up to launch 3DS peripherals to coincide with the Japanese launch of the hand-held on 20 November 2010.
The tweet read: “On November 20th, the 11 goods I designed for use with the 3DS will go on sale simultaneously. Those of you buying the 3DS, please buy them while you're at it! This will be officially announced on the homepage eventually, lol. Best regard.”
After the news broke out, the Twitter account disappeared, the tweet along with it.
Nintendo has called a press conference on 29 September, in which the video gaming giant is expected to release more details on the upcoming 3d gaming device.
The Nintendo 3DS device is designed to allow gamers to play 3D video games without having to wear bulky glasses.
3D gaming is being touted as the next big thing in the global game industry, with many manufacturers hoping that it will revive dwindling console sales.
