Pictures of the Samsung GT-i8700 have emerged showing that the Korean manufacturer is working hard on its first Windows Phone 7 smartphone.
The device will apparently come with 8GB onboard storage, possibly a 8-megapixel rear camera (no front facing), a LED flash, touchscreen only and a 4-inch touchscreen.
It sports a rectangular form factor with squared-off edges, not unlike the iPhone 4. Expect it to be available on October 11th with other models from LG, Sony Ericsson & HTC going on sale as well.
Interestingly, the embarked OS is Windows Phone 7 6527.mainline, one which was released on the 28th of July, nearly six weeks ago.
