UK comedian and self confessed tech enthusiast Stephen Fry has produced a short-film about 3D TV technology, designed to make it easier for Britons to understand and accept it.
The short-film, which has been produced along side TV network Sky, has been created to make people aware about what could be the future of TV in Britain. The 3D TV guide can be viewed at www.sky.com/3D.
Fry said in a statement to The Press Association: “3D TV in the home is going to be the next exciting chapter in television history and I'm delighted to be able to offer a little clarity on the subject.”
According to Fry, the short-film will "enlighten" the users and clarify the myths surrounding the technology.
The short-film on 3D TV comes ahead of the launch of Sky's first 3D TV channel on 1 October.
The Sky 3D will feature live sports, documentaries and movies and will be accessible to Sky+HD customers at no extra charge.
