The HTC Desire Z has already gone on preorder with the first devices expected to be dispatched on the 16th of October for as little as £30 per month from T-Mobile.
The mobile phone operator is offering the keyboard-equipped Android handset for a monthly £30 on a two year contract, via mobilephonesdirect. The package includes 900 minutes, 500 texts and 3GB mobile web data quota (even though they say unlimited).
The same package but on a 18-month contract will cost £40 per month (with the added bonus of getting unlimited text and £20 free accessories). Both Vodafone and O2 also offer the phone but none are as competitive as T-Mobile.
The phone, which is a reworked version of the popular HTC Desire, comes with a slide out keyboard and will give Motorola's Milestone a serious run for its money. The Desire Z also gets a slightly different CPU and also adds the new HTCSense.com and the HTC UI.
