A consumer report has revealed that both Apple and PC makers have managed to satisfy their customers in the United States although the Cupertino-based company still comes on top.
According to latest American Consumer Satisfaction Index (ACSI) released by the University of Michigan, a majority of consumers surveyed said that they were generally satisfied by Apple and Windows-based personal computers.
The result released by the ASCI has showed that on the scale of 100 points, nearly 86 percent of American consumers are reportedly satisfied with their Apple devices.
On the other hand, personal computer makers, including Acer, Dell, Hewlett-Packard and others averaged 78 percent of satisfaction.
"Nearly all brands showed increases in satisfaction and no manufacturer declined. Lower prices, better service, and an emphasis on new, smaller systems and a variety of portable PCs helped drive the improvement." stated director of the National Quality Research Center at the University of Michigan, Claes Fornell.
