Several new designs for Apple’s iPad have surfaced in the Chinese market revealing some upcoming and improved features for the device.
Tech news site Patently Apple has published two designs that from China that show the potential enhancements that could be seen in future generations of Apple’s iPad, tech news site Gizmodo Australia reports.
The first feature described by Patently Apple is a 30-pin dock connector on one side of the device, in addition to the original connector at the bottom of iPad, enabling users to dock the gadget in landscape or portrait mode.
The second design is of a mysterious smart bezel that has not been described much by the patent sources. However, speculation suggests that this feature may allow users to flip pages automatically while reading things on their iPads through a touch sensitive button.
Even so, this seems unlikely as Apple tend to prefer to use a single home button.
