Web users got a sneak preview of Microsoft’s highly anticipated operating system Windows Phone 7 in two adverts on a media sharing website.
The adverts, which were immediately removed from YouTube after VM Powerhouse reported their existence, claim that the HTC’s Windows Phone 7 smartphone will be offered in the US by mobile services provider AT&T.
According to sources the HTC smartphone is expected to sport a touch screen of 4.3 inch, 1GHz Snapdragon processor, 512MB of RAM, 720p of video recording, a 5Mp camera, and a Flash memory of 8GB.
Sources also claim that the Windows Phone 7-based HTC Mondrian will hit market shelves first in Europe including the United Kingdom, France, Italy, Spain and Germany on 21 of October. The phone is expected to go live in the US from 8 November.
