Microsoft has announced 26 October as the launch date for its Office for Mac 2011 productivity suite.
The company confirmed the launched date, leaked earlier this month by Amazon, which had listed Office for Mac 2011 for a 26 October launch.
Microsoft has also announced via blog post that the product is now available for pre-order on Amazon.
Amazon is retailing Microsoft Office for Mac Home and Student 2011 at $119.99 for a single license, while a three license pack for the software can be purchased for $149.99.
Office for Mac Home and Business 2011 is available for 199.99 for a single license, while a two license pack can be pre-ordered for $279.99.
Consumers can also purchase Word, Excel and PowerPoint as standalone clients for $139.99 each.
“One of the most visually impactful features in the new suite also is called Dynamic Reorder, it gives you the ability to interactively re-order all of the layers in a document or presentation – one of the ways that we are solving a very real customer need with a fun experience,” Microsoft explained.
