Hewlett Packard (HP) has launched an updated networking suite, designed to ensure better connectivity and easier service options for its branch offices world wide.
The computing giant made way for its HP Branch Office Networking Solution set with an aim to reach out to its remote offices that have a limited number IT employees for on-site infrastructure, Enterprise Networking Planet (ENP) reports.
Launched in Barcelona, the solution has been developed to make sure that company’s remote locations reap the maximum benefit from strong access to applications and infrastructure.
"The HP Branch Office Networking Solution is an all-in-one converged connectivity and high-performance application service. By basing it on our modular E5400 or E8200 switching platforms, we can deliver dramatically less cabling in less space with less power," said Jay Mellman, director of product and solution marketing sector for Networking at HP.
The solution, will consist of an Ethernet switch that will enable applications from virtual appliance software from Riverbed, Citrix, Microsoft, NetScout and Avaya to deliver a range of networking and security services.
