Nokia confirmed this morning that the Nokia N8 smartphone will be available for sale from the 22nd of October from a number of well-known high street retailers and mobile phone operators.
It is interesting to note that Tesco Phone Shop is now considered as a strategic partner as Nokia has included them in the current roster of partners for this all-important launch.
The cheapest N8 handset we could find on PAYG is still the one at £330 locked on Tesco Mobile, with an impressive 658 clubcard points and costing £100 less than the equivalent SIM-free model from Nokia.
Alternatively, those looking for a monthly contract may look at Nokiadirect where Vodafone, O2 and T-Mobile have interesting offers.
We were particularly pleased by the £25 deal from T-Mobile which includes internet, 500 texts and 600 minutes and comes with a free HDMI cable to connect the phone to your high definition screen.
Ordering from Nokia Direct means that your order will be dispatched on the 14th of October, one whole week before the general UK release.
