Windows Phone 7 video tips up

A thirteen-minute blurrycam video of a Samsung Omnia 7 handset running what is probably the final version of Microsoft's Windows Phone 7 has tipped up on YouTube.

The video, which is probably the most comprehensive walk-through of the much-delayed Mobile OS seen to date and was shot in Milan by someone with very limited camera skills, judging from the quality of the footage and the weather application which is seen running.

There's a first look at a demo of the Mobile Office Suite at around 2:20 in the clip and it all looks a bit clunky compared to Apple's iWorks on the iPad, but the rest of the user interface is pretty slick, and at least it didn't crash for a the full 13 minutes.

There's nothing much else in the video (other than what looks like a new Samsung user hub) that we haven't seen in one tech demo or another over the last few months, and it's no secret that Samsung is one of Microsoft's major partners in the endeavor, but we thought you might like to see it anyway.

W7 Mobile is due to be launched on Monday in London and New York. monitors all leading technology stories and rounds them up to help you save time hunting them down.
