Rumours about the second version of Apple’s iPad tablet computers have flooded the market, following the leak of its hardware features by component suppliers.
According to tech new site Uber Gizmo, Taiwanese component manufacturers and suppliers for the iPad have said that Apple is currently working upon the second version of its tablet device.
The rumoured iPad is said to sport a seven inch touch display screen, a camera, retina display technology, internal memory upto 128GB and a micro or mini USB port, Apple Insider reports.
“Brian White of Ticonderoga Securities on Wall Street said this week that suppliers contacted during a trip to Taipei indicated that Apple plans to launch a new iPad in the first quarter of the 2011 calendar year,” Apple Insider quoted.
According to White, this iPad will replace all records set by the first generation of the device on release. It is expected to be launched in the first quarter of next year.
