Apple products have dominated this year's T3 Awards, winning a total of five awards including Gadget of the Year award which went to the iPad.
Apart from the gadget of the year award, the iPad also won the Innovation of the Year award. Meanwhile, Apple's iPhone 4 won the commuter gadget of the year.
The Cupertino-based consumer electronics giant also received the retailer of the year award for the aggressive expansion of retail outlets. The coveted Computer of the Year award went to Apple's newly revamped Macbook Pro.
However, there is one category that Apple was expected to leave its mark but it didn't. The T3 Phone of the Year award went to the HTC Desire, with the iPhone 4 finishing second.
This is because the iPhone 4 has remained surrounded by controversies ever since it was launched with Apple doing almost nothing to set things right.
HTC had its moment in glory by winning the phone of the year award for the much-loved and highly popular Android-based HTC Desire. The award signifies how the Android OS has helped HTC to bounce back into the smartphone market to become a major player.
