Mobile phone network Three has made public it will be carrying the Windows Phone 7 based handset from Samsung, the Omnia 7.
The Samsung Omnia 7 arrives with a 4-inch Super AMOLED Capacitive touch screen, with a 5 megapixel camera capable of 720P HD video recording on 8GB of internal storage.
The handset runs from a 1Ghz application processor, where Windows Phone 7 is at the core of the device with access to over 2000 applications from the Windows Marketplace app repository.
The Samsung Omnia 7 will be available from Three on a range of tariffs, from The One Planat £40 a month, to the Internet Texter 900 for £38 or the Internet Texter 500 for £35 per month.
Three’s One Plan is accompanied by 2,000 minutes, 5,000 minutes to any Three phone numbers, 5,000 text messages and a 1GB data allowance. The Internet Text 900 and 500 are tariffs with 900 and 500 minutes, 5,000 minutes to any Three based phone numbers, 5,000 texts messages and 1GB data allowance.
Three’s Samsung Omnia 7 offering will be available on September 21st, although pre-reordering has started at three.co.uk/windowsphone already.
