Samsung Galaxy S Price Drops To £25 Per Month

Those looking for a Samsung i9000 Galaxy S handset may well be swayed by the current offer that Orange is offering, one that is available for only £25 per month on a two year contract, with a total cost of ownership of merely £600.

While this version comes with Android OS 2.1, we already know that Samsung is going to roll out Froyo (AKA Android OS 2.2) for Galaxy S users with some users already reporting successful updates.

The deal, available through buymobilephones, includes 300 minutes, 500MB internet and unlimited texts as well as Orange's Cinema Wednesdays and Magic numbers.

Those interested can still purchase the Galaxy S outright from as little as £315 on O2 (via Dial A Phone) as a PAYG model that's highly likely to be unlocked.

As for the phone itself, it is a capable device that not only outshines the HTC Desire but also probably the HTC Desire HD.

It come with a 4-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen display, a 1GHz processor, Wi-Fi, a 5-megapixel camera and 8GB internal storage.
