Apple is expected to announce exceptional financial results following the phenomenal success of its iPad and iPhone 4 devices.
According to The Telegraph, the Cupertino-based company is expected to double profits from year, fuelled by the sales of its iPad and iPhone 4.
Analysts claim that the company will report approximately $13.4 billion (£8.4 billion) in profits, while the revenue from sales is expected to come around $63.7 billion.
The massive sales figures is attributed to the success enjoyed by the iPad, which revolutionised the tablet PC market, and the fourth generation iPhone 4, which came with a front facing camera for video conferencing and Retina Display technology.
For this quarter, Apple is expected to have sold 4.5 million iPad units. By the year's end, the company is expected to have sold 15 million iPad units.
Analysts also predict that Apple's full year financial report will allow its share to surge to an all-time high, after breaching the $300 barrier last week.
