Microsoft Game Studios has announced that the downloadable content pack for Halo: Reach will be available from 30 November.
The Noble Map Pack is designed to bring three new playing environment to the game, Tempest, Anchor 9 and Breakpoint. The map pack will be available from the Xbox Live Market Place for £10.
Microsoft stands to make even greater profit by releasing the paid DLC for the game, which managed to rake in $200 million within the first 24 hours of its launch.
People have long argued that game publishers should release all the elements of the game at the time of release and not try to make extra profit by selling additional paid-for content.
According to Microsoft, the Noble Map Pack will be compatible with several gaming modes and will bring additional environments to the already massive game.
The DCP will allow games to play "on a galactic scale, from a frozen xeno-archaeology site harbouring centuries old secrets, to an orbital anchor defending the stars high above planet Reach and to mysterious places far, far beyond.”
