Nintendo will be launching the Wii Remote Plus in Europe on 5 November before anywhere else in the world.
The new remote, which will come in four colors, is an upgraded version of the Wii remote combined with Wii MotionPlus, which will bring Move-like precision and accuracy to the gaming console.
The company is also planning to introduce a new game called FlingShot on 19 November. The move is a part of Nintendo's effort to remain an industry leader in the motion gaming segment, which has recently seen new entrants in the form of Microsoft's Kinect and Sony's PlayStation Move.
According to T3, the new controller will be same in size as earlier models and will be compatible with other Nintendo Wii hardware add-ons. Wii Remote Plus will also allow gamers to twist their wrists or arms for controlling the game.
While the price of the new controller has not been revealed, the company said that it would be compatible with other upcoming Wii games including The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword and New Carnival Funfair Games.
