The RIM Blackberry Bold 9780 is on its way to T-Mobile if various sources online are to be believed; the handset may also pop up on Vodafone before Christmas.
According to Electricpig.co.uk, the Blackberry Bold 9780 will go on sale for £30 per month, possibly with free Blackberry email and internet access.
Vodafone is said to be charging £35 per month on a two year contract with 900 minutes, unlimited texts and 500MB of data allowance.
The phone itself is a straightforward refresh of the 9700 with the same 624MHz ARM-based processor, Wi-Fi, GPS, a 2.4-inch screen with a 480x360 pixel resolution, 512MB onboard memory and support for up to 32GB storage via a microSD card.
The QWERTY keyboard, hard keys, media keys and trackpad are still present but the OS has been swapped for the brand new Blackberry 6 OS and the camera is now a 5-megapixel model with LED flash.
Some online retailer like Buymobilephones.net are clearing out the old Blackberry Bold 9700 with the cheapest offers starting from £25 per month on a two year contract.
