HTC Desire HD comes to Three

Mobile phone network Three has announced it's carrying the High Tech Computer Corporation flagship Desire HD Android handset, on its renowned One Plan.

Three's HTC Desire HD arrives on a £40 a month One Plan tariff, where the mobile tips up with a 4.3-inch capacitive touch screen LCD display, a higher screen size than the 4-inch Samsung Galaxy S - only that handset has a Super AMOLED screen, with a much improved brightness and more vivid colours.

This mobile phone is one of the first to arrive powered by the latest Qualcomm 8255 1Ghz Snapdragon processor, with the Desire HD being capable of 720p high definition video recording from its 8 megapixel dual-flash camera.

Android ‘Froyo' 2.2 ships with the handset along with HTC's own Sense overlay to the OS that has been enhanced, with improvements seen around the capturing and the sharing of multimedia.

The Three HTC Desire HD One Plan based offering is accompanied by 2,000 minutes, 5,000 minutes to any Three phone number, a 5,000 text message and a 1GB data allowance. The phone will also be available on pay as you go too, with the Desire HD costing £449.99 with a £10 credit thrown in for good measure.
