Vodafone Taking Orders For HTC Desire HD & Nokia N8

Mobile phone operator Vodafone has started selling the HTC Desire HD and the Nokia N8 with the former available from £35 per month and the latter for £29.37.

The HTC Desire HD (opens in new tab) will be bundled with 900 minutes, 750MB mobile data, 5MB European roaming data as well as unlimited text; note that the bundle is only available online and those ordering instore will get only 600 minutes and 500MB data allowance (plus unlimited text).

The Nokia N8, available in green (opens in new tab) or black (opens in new tab), comes with 300 minutes, 500MB data allowance and unlimited texts and like the previous bundles, comes on a two-year contract.

The Desire HD builds on the Desire success and offers a bigger 4.3-inch screen, an improved Snapdragon processor, a better 8-megapixel camera, HTCSense and Android OS 2.2.

The Nokia N8 has 16GB onboard storage, a 3.5-inch touchscreen, a 12-megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss lenses and a Xenon Flash and is powered by Symbian^3.
