The white iteration of the iPhone 4 has appeard on the newly updated Apple App Store App much to the pleasure of those who were disappointed by the lack of updates from the Cupertino company lately.
The App shows a 16GB white version of the iPhone 4 with a starting price of $199, conditional to a two year contract with AT&T.
According to TUAW.com, the App adds that Apple is not taking iPhone reservations because of high demand although reserving a black one is actually possible.
It also looks as if localised versions of the application in other countries including Portugal and the UK also have the white iPhone 4 listed.
Apple has postponed the launch of the white iPhone 4 because of issues with case discolouration and the fear that demand might severely outstrip supply leading to customer discontent.
The white iPhone 4 is expected to be launched in the fourth quarter of 2010 as Apple gears up for the festive period and possibly launched in conjunction with a new CDMA/Verizon iPhone 4.
Since the launch of the iPhone 4 nearly five months ago, there have been a number of sightings of the elusive coloured phone including one courtesy of British comedian Stephen Fry.
