One Mobile Ring attended the launch event of the Optimus One Android handset by LG, where adding to our coverage is a walk-through of the handsets' features in images.
The LG Optimus One, which arrives with a 3.2-inch HVGA screen, a 3 megapixel camera, a 2GB microSD card and runs Android ‘Froyo’ 2.2 with a customised LG UI.
The LG Optimus One, running the latest version of the Google mobile OS with the ability to turn the handset into a portable WIFI hotspot. The Optimus One also has RX diversity built into the mobile, where the LG phone has two antennas internally offering up a better signal for tasks such as providing a WIFI hotspot.
The LG Optimus One, with the LG app advisor that recommends 10 highly rated applications every two weeks along with country specific software too. One Mobile Ring has discovered not every shipping model will have this, as the LG app advisor is exclusive to Three and Carphone Warehouse models only.
The LG Optimus One, running the LG Car Home application which is LG’s overlay to Google Maps making it easier to use the phone as a sat nav device. The handset is also bundled with a car cradle too, if purchased from Three, T-Mobile or Orange.
