Mozilla has celebrated the sixth birthday of its Firefox web browser by inviting users to send postcards to its Mountain View or Paris offices.
The web browser, which debuted on 9 November 2004, has now garnered a user base of 400 million users worldwide, out of which 150 million have applied the Facebook add-on for a more social browsing experience, the outfit said in a blog post.
According to the organisation, the web browser is available in 70 languages and is used by a quarter of web users around the world.
“The success of Firefox is due to the passionate and dedicated Mozilla community, comprised of tens of thousands of developers, localisers, testers, ambassadors and campus reps,” the company said.
Users will be able to share their own Firefox experiences via postcards or FoxCards that will be featured in its Mountain View and Paris offices.
