Myspace Launches Mashup With Facebook

MySpace has introduced Mashup with Facebook, a new feature that will allow users to get customised entertainment-based streams on their MySpace profiles using their 'Likes' from Facebook.

In a blog post, MySpace explained that at the click of a button, all the 'Likes' and interests on a user's Facebook profile will be ported to their MySpace page, automatically populating a users' MySpace stream with media content already liked by them.

Users will also be able to use recommendations and trending topics on MySpace in order to customised their streams.

MySpace will also enable users to get in touch with people who share their passion of the same celebrity, movie or band.

Mike Jones, CEO of Myspace, said in a statement: “This new feature is a great illustration of our strategy around social entertainment and enabling the real-time stream. The stream is one of our most popular features on Myspace, and it is now delivering an even richer entertainment experience of relevant content for our users to enjoy.” monitors all leading technology stories and rounds them up to help you save time hunting them down.
