Amazon has kickstarted its Black Friday sales only a few minutes ago and already the six items that have been listed have been sold out in minutes; the event will last until the 26th of November, midnight.
The biggest savings were on two albums, from Susan Boyle and Take that, both of which went for £1 (compared to £8.93). Harry Potter Years 1-6 Blu-ray boxset went for £13 down from £25 while the Pure One Mi DAB/FM radio saw a £10 drop in its price to £20 while the Creative Gigaworks HD50 speakers sold for £55, down from £83; in total, Amazon promises to sell "hundreds of lightning deals" although it fails to say how much of each will be sold.
Other deals to be had can be found here and Amazon will be including three more details every hour until Friday.
Currently the only three technology related games announced include two console games and Adobe Photoshop Elements for Mac or PC.
Amazon has already confirmed that it will be slashing the price of Sony TVs and Blu-ray players, Flip Mino HD camcorders, Nintendo Wii and Microsoft Xbox gaming consoles.
