Play Slashes Price of Windows Netbook To £60

Online retailer play is having a Black Friday session of its own as it has started cutting prices on some technology-related items by as nuch as 40 per cent; amongst those which caught our eyes is the Disgo Net Browser 3000 which now retails for £60.

The device, which is on sale here, comes with an ARM 248MHz processor, 64MB RAM, 2GB onboard ROM, a SD card reader, a 7-inch 800x480 pixels display and a proper QWERTY keypad plus touchpad.

It does come with Wi-Fi and Windows CE 5.0 Professional plus here's even three USB ports and a pair of speakers. You will be able to play MP3 files but no Flash videos and with a four-hour battery life, it will be good enough for most commutes.

Unfortunately, its maximum supported SD card capacity is only 8GB and you won't be able to install anything on it including external USB modems or any other peripherals. Arguably you can always use a Mi-Fi broadband adaptor to do the job; but then, at that price, there's not much you can complain about.
