Nokia’s latest touch and type handset is now available

Finnish fone maker Nokia second touch and type C3-01 handset has gone on sale, directly from the company and at a cost of £159 SIM free and unlocked.

Nokia C3-01 was announced in the last days of the company’s annual symposium Nokia World 2010 in September this year, where the C3-01 arrives with a 2.4-inch touch screen, a keypad, 3.5G and WIFI abilities, along with a 5 megapixel camera whilst running the Symbian S40 OS.

The phone is the successor to the Nokia 6700 Classic of last year, which in turn was a successor to the 6300 series of 2007 – all with a familiar Nokia design, which has been maintained in the C3-01

Nokia’s new handset arrives in a stainless steel chassis, with smooth curved edges with the best of both worlds – a touch screen and a physical keypad

The C3-01 is the second only touch and type handset from Nokia, with a full touch screen alongside a physical keypad and in the same vein as the original X3 touch and type mobile phone.

Nokia’s C3-01 is available now from for £159 SIM free and unlocked, or for £99 on pay as you go deals from Vodafone, T-Mobile and O2 who also stock the phone on contracts starting from £15 a month.
