Apple is mulling its next steps in its plans for world domination and has given hints that the lucrative enterprise market might be next.
The Wall Street Journal reports that at least five members of Research In Motion's enterprise sales staff have been recruited by Apple over the last 18 months.
Amongst them, Geoff Perfect who was RIM's Head of Strategic Sales for almost five years, left in April 2009 and joined Apple as Head of Enterprise iPhone Sales.
Data revealed by Apple's CEO Steve Jobs during the company;s earnings conference call show that Apple's iPhone figures surpass that of Research in Motion.
Furthermore, more than 80 per cent of Fortune 500 companies have either rolled out or are considering using the iPhone with nearly two thirds of Fortune 100 testing the iPad.
A few days ago, we learnt that enterprise software giant SAP has already purchased nearly two thousands iPads with half of those destined for developers.
