Advent Vega Selling On Ebay For £350

Some clever chaps are making a killing on Ebay by flogging the Advent Vega Android-based tablet for as much as £375 excluding delivery.

Although there are currently only a few available on the auction site, the amount of interest the listings have generated shows that the Vega is set to be one of the surprise hits of 2010.

One of the listings here (opens in new tab) attracted more than 200 views and at least three have been snapped for more than £350.

The Advent Vega is still out of stock at PC World and Dixons with the device having completely disappeared from these websites. DSGi is still saying that the tablet has sold out due to unprecedented demand and will be back in stock next week.

As a reminder, the device is based on a dual core Nvidia Tegra 2 processor with Android OS 2.2, 512MB RAM, 512MB ROM, a 1.3-megapixel camera, a 10.1-inch capacitive touchscreen, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, all weighing only 700g.
