For the past few days, the only place you've been able to buy an Advent Vega tablet is on eBay, and for as much as £375 plus delivery.
One of the listings here attracted more than 200 views and at least three have been snapped for more than £350.
The Vega sold out within hours at PC World and Dixons with the device having completely disappeared from these web sites. A DSGi spokesman told us earlier in the week that it was getting new stock in, but none has yet made it onto the retailers virtual shelves.
The boatful that has been wending its say from the Far East for some time now, may still be days away.
The Vega has become a surprise hit with buyers looking to avoid the Apple bandwagon and prices. The device is based on a dual core Nvidia Tegra 2 processor running Android OS 2.2.
The £249 configuration includes 512MB RAM, a 1.3-megapixel camera, a 10.1-inch capacitive touchscreen, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, in a 700g tablet.
