Rumours about a potential delay in the shipment of the HTC Gratia have been discarded by the Taiwanese company as the Gratia went on Preorder at Clove Technology for a rather steep £376.
The HTC Gratia is apparently available in several European markets and will be available in the UK in the first quarter of 2011 as originally planned. It comes with a 3.2-inch HVGA capacitive touchscreen, a 600MHz Qualcomm processor, a 5-megapixel camera and Android OS 2.2.
One can expect it to take over the HTC Wildfire although we are a little bit skeptical about the asking price and the fact that the Gratia doesn't offer much of an upgrade compared to its predecessor.
The HTC Gratia will be facing a number of tough competitors next year starting with the Wildfire itself. Sony Ericsson has already discounted its X8, X10 and X10 mini, all of which come with similar form factors and specifications.
Even the ZTE Blade, which is available from Orange as the San Francisco will give the Gratia a run for its money, especially as it can be purchase for under £100.
