Reality TV star Kim Kardashian has topped the list of Bing's Top People Searches for 2010, followed by Oscar-winning actress Sandra Bullock and controversial golfing legend Tiger Woods.
According to PC Magazine, Microsoft said that Kardashian received 20 per cent more search requests than Bullock.
“While topical items like Swine Flu and Stock Market topped the list in 2009, this year rankings reflects the popularity of celebrity news,” the Bing team said in a blog post.
Kardashian, Bullock and Woods were followed by pop-start Lady Gaga, US president Obama, Kate Gosselin, Justin Bieber, Jesse James, Lindsey Lohan and Jennifer Aniston.
The trio at the top of Bing's people search list also received the most overall search requests in 2010 on Bing.
Microsoft said that Kate Gosselin was the only celebrity to appear both 2009 and 2010. Last year, Gosselin had got the number 8 slot on the list.
