Google Giving Away Free Nexus S Smartphones On Twitter

Google has been giving away free Nexus S smartphones on the official Google Nexus Twitter account with the last handset to be given out until the 16th of December.

Puzzle number (opens in new tab) seven is already out with competitors being asked to write a haiku about why they should be the winner of a Nexus S.

Interestingly, there doesn't seem to be any country limitations and there doesn't seem to be any restrictions on the number of entries.

Built by Samsung, the Nexus S is essentially a repackaged Galaxy S with a new curved Super AMOLED display called the Contour Display, NFC capabilities, Gingerbread, 16GB memory but also no microSD card or FM Radio.

We've already highlighted the five reasons why we believe the Nexus S will be a failure (just like the Nexus One before) and what are other capable, alternative smartphones currently on the market, let alone new ones coming up in the new year.
