Sony Ericsson Playstation Phone Zeus Z1 : More Details Emerge

Another anonymous tipster has sent a video of the forthcoming Sony Ericsson Playstation Phone, known as the Zeus Z1, to Engadget complete with video.

The handset managed to score 24.4 frames per second in the Neocore benchmark application, less than half what the Nexus S achieves at 55.6 frames per second.

Some have questioned whether choosing Neocore as the benchmark app wouldn't favour Qualcomm Snapdragon processors as the utility is made by Qualcomm.

The Z1 should be with us in March 2011 as exclusively revealed last week and will come with a slide out gamepad.

Based on Android, it looks a lot lke the X10 with a 4-inch WVGA capacitive touchscreen, a 1GHz processor, microUSB port and a microSD card reader.

On paper at least the Z1 should be much more powerful than the Playstation Portable gaming console which packs only a 333MHz processor and has a mere 64MB onboard memory.
