Cheapest Wii Now Available For £129 At PC World

The black version of the Nintendo Wii gaming console has gone on sale at PC World for a whoppingly low £129 including delivery (or reserve and collect instore).

That's an exquisite £50 off the suggested retail price and a solid £30 less than at rival outlets. We're not sure how DSGi managed to do that especially as both Currys and Dixons sell it for more.

Note that this is a web exclusive and that you will pay more if you buy it instore. The game's package contains the console itself, Wii Sports, Wii Sports Resort and the Motion Plus controller. It It is also available with the popular Super Smash Bros. Brawl for £9.99 extra.

Although the Wii is now a few years old and uses technology that was cutting edge a decade ago, it is still more popular, as a gaming platform, than the Xbox 360 or the PS3 because it pioneered motion controllers, a concept that the two rival gaming consoles are only exploring now.
