DSGi seems to have received more stock of the very popular Advent Vega Tablet over the weekend at PCWorld, Currys and Dixons from £249.99, a price that can be cut to £239.99 using "10pound" voucher code at checkout at Currys only. (ed : it seems that there is no stock as of Monday morning available for delivery online)
The Advent Vega (opens in new tab) hit the headlines after becoming the only Tegra 2 device widely available for sale after the Toshiba Folio 100 was pulled out from sale after hundreds of customer complaints.
It packs some pretty impressive tech for the price with that dual core processor from Nvidia, a 10.1-inch 1024x600 capacitive touchscreen, 6.5 hours video playing, USB, HDMI, Wi-Fi, a webcam and a microphone, 512MB RAM, Android 2.2 and a microSD card reader.
Note that the current version doesn't support Flash as the initial version ran a non-certified version and has been removed from future shipments. The Vega is going through accreditation and is expected to ship an update early 2011, possibly with Gingerbread. You can read more about our coverage of the Advent Vega here.
